Killer Campaigning is run by Phil Van Treuren, a web designer, writer and City Councilman.

Phil started his career in journalism as a beat reporter, and was awarded honorable mention from the Associated Press for its 2002 Breaking News category.

Later, Phil went on to work as a professional political consultant, working for candidates in local, state and national campaigns. He joined the United States Army in 2004 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant after completing Officer Candidate School at the 145th Regiment Regional Training Institute.

Phil lives in Amherst, Ohio with his wife Jessica and their three children. He loves being a dad, and gets excited over things like WordPress plugins, polling data and anything having to do with Star Wars.
